Hello Disney friends!
I know what to pack can be a source of stress for many people and can even become overwhelming. Everyone is going to differ in their needs and wants, but I thought I would share what I bring along.
Obviously things like clothes, your ID and money are a given, but other useful things may be forgotten.
•Sunblock is a must in the Florida environment. I like spray on ones that are sweat proof so they do not need to be reapplied as frequently. I also like the powder sunblock (yes! They make powdered sunblock!) for May face- this way you don't get it dripping in your eyes and stinging.
•Chapstick. It's one of those things that is easy to forget, but when you have dry lips it's a lifesaver. They usually have it in the hotel gift shops, but I've never seen it in the parks.
•Snacks- either bring them or have them delivered. It will save you money - park snacks are pricey and you may want something while waiting in a long line. Keep in mind the time of year- you will want to avoid anything that will melt in the hotter months. I like to bring protein bars to eat so I make sure that I take ones without anything that will melt.
• Sort of under the heading of snacks as it is food, but I like to start the day with a protein shake and either pack some or have them delivered to my hotel. This saves me time and money as well as giving me a healthy start to my day.
•Refillable water bottle and flavor packs. Even non-alcoholic beverages are expensive at Disney. You can get free ice water at any quick service locations, but the water does not taste the best. I tend to bring electrolyte fortified flavor packs (my favorite are grape and lemonade) to both make the water taste better and help with hydration. I like bottles with a wide mouth so I can easily add ice and a dip top so I don't have to worry about losing my life or dropping it.
•Tissues- always useful.
